Better Connected Community Services provides a range of services to children, their families and carers in South Eastern Sydney
Our Family Support and Development Officer can provide information, support and referral for children, families and local communities. We are a familiar and soft point entry pathway for clients unsure of where to start their journey or determining their next step of inquiry. We can identify gaps, organise relevant workshops and events available to all members of the community. We believe all children should get the best start to school, supported by a connected community. A good nutrition and support for continued learning is also essential.
At local schools in the Shire and Bayside we aim to assist in the development of strong and healthy children. We have breakfast club, reading support programs, high school workshops, and early intervention programs.
Better Connected Community Services Inc. is an associate of Rockdale Children and Families Hub support service. As the Rockdale Children and Families Hub Navigators we also link clients with social, wellbeing and health support services to meet their needs. We aim to simplify pathways and work as a community to ensure children and families are given the best possible opportunities for their future.
Children learn a lot in the early years of life before they start school. The Rockdale Children and Families Hub is a group of services working with families to provide a strong beginning for children in the community.
